Robert Sungenis' Meltdown I have refrained from blogging about Bob Sungenis' (in)famous article Conversion of the Jews, mostly because I don't know what to say about it and, for once, I decided to not say something when I don't know what to say. Bill Cork has been doggedly on the case. I hope that my writings never deserve to be subjected to such a thorough, fine-toothed combing as Bill is giving to Bob's. Heaven forfend. :) I do have two things to say, though. (1) I agree with other bloggers that a boycott of Sungenis' CAI is appropriate at this time. It is a shame that it has come to that: I have his Not by Scripture Alone and Not by Faith Alone, and I think they are invaluable works. Let us pray that we may get more works like that from Sungenis in the future. (2) I think that Bill Cork's speculative analysis of the fundamentalistic approach is spot on, as they say across the pond. Lane Core Jr. CIW P Mon. 09/16/02 09:44:26 PM |
