Pope John Paul the Great

He's very old. He's very frail. He often speaks with a slur. But he still inspires men to do amazing things:

A fugitive Mafia boss facing 30 years in prison for murder surrendered Thursday, saying he was inspired by Pope John Paul II's historic speech to Italy's parliament, the suspect's lawyer said....

What other world figure today could do something like that?
