Fisking of Artists United to Win Without War

At Disordered Affections yesterday:

Here is the text of the letter sent to President Bush by "Artists United to Win Without War". The comments in italics are mine. (You probably could have figured that out.)
War talk in Washington is alarming and unnecessary. And it's taking all the focus off of us.
We are patriotic Americans who share the belief that Saddam Hussein cannot be allowed to possess weapons of mass destruction. We've realized if we don't say that part, we get into like heaps of trouble....
