"Keefer Loves Job, Palm Trees in Sunny Florida" By Stacy Wolford in The Valley Independent. My neighbor writes an article in the local newspaper, Jul. 17, about Amanda Keefer; I grew up with her dad, so I've known Keefer since she was a little girl: Amanda Keefer couldn't be happier. The 24-year-old Allenport native has her dream job, the support of a great family and a view of palm trees from her apartment. Keefer, a 1998 California Area High School graduate, recently became a public relations account executive with Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell, a leading travel and leisure marketing agency in Orlando. She is responsible for media relations and publicity for Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Wynn Las Vegas Resort. "I love my job," Keefer said. "I've always wanted to be involved with the travel industry and this is just a great fit for me." Keefer, the daughter of Paul and Kristy Keefer, of Allenport, received a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations-advertising in 2002 from Point Park University.... The print edition has a great picture, but it's not in the web edition. Too bad: you could see that Keefer is the most beautiful thing in the world. Well. Okay. Maybe I'm prejudiced. :-) Oh.... Wait.... I do have a rather complete photographic record of her senior year in high school. She was Homecoming Queen, Friday, October 10, 1997. These are some of my all-time favorite pictures.
Hmmm. Maybe I'm not prejudiced after all........ Lane Core Jr. CIW P Mon. 07/19/04 07:52:08 PM |
