Your Handy, Dandy DNC Thesaurus

I can't say that I paid a whole lot of attention to the first day of the Democratic National Convention yesterday. I caught a little bit here, a little bit there, and I caught some news coverage. I kept hearing some words over and over: even on the talk shows, Democratic flaks kept strictly to their talking points. In fact, they kept so strictly to their talking points that anybody could tell they were sticking strictly to talking points. Doing so gave them, frankly, a certain robotic sound — as if their minds had been temporarily cloned.

Kind of like The Stepford Politicians.

As I said, I kept hearing some words repeatedly — referring, of course, to George W. Bush & his administration. Here they are:

  • arrogant
  • divisive
  • incompetent
  • partisan
  • polarizing
  • reckless.

All those are merely synonyms, in DNC Speak, for George W. Bush won't do what us Democrats want him to do.

No wonder they think Bushitler is inarticulate.
