Mother of All Megaborkings Ahead "Scalito" to the court? It looks like Judge Samuel Alito is going to be nominated as Associate Justice of SCOTUS. I'm telling you, the Mother of All Megaborkings is coming. Oh, not of Judge Alito. Heck, no. George W. Bush has three years left in his presidency. If he gets the opportunity to nominate yet another SCOTUS justice before his second term ends which I will say now that I think to be very likely it will make every other judicial nomination fight in the history of the country look like a Sunday afternoon picnic in the country. For it's that nomination that will put the-constitution-means-what-we-say, let's-make-things-up-as-we-go-along, it's-this-way-because-we-say-so justices firmly into the minority. We're still just scrimmaging now. Lane Core Jr. CIW P Mon. 10/31/05 07:00:54 AM |
