"Tigers Will Do Anything For a Tuna Fish Sandwich!" A monumental anniversary. Twenty years ago today, November 18, 1985, the first Calvin and Hobbes comic strip was published, appearing in 35 newspapers. Here it is, from my copy of the first Calvin and Hobbes book, published in 1987, which I still have in almost pristine condition. Here are some Calvin and Hobbes links:
