White Man, Sociology Major, Former Graduate Student, Dressed in Black, and Armed with Shotgun

Curiously, he remains anonymous.

At least five students were killed, and many more were wounded, by the mass murderer at Northwestern Illinois University more than 16 hours ago. Authorities know who shot two dozen or so victims, but they haven't yet told us the killer's identity.

One must wonder why. Sure, the identities of all the victims haven't been released yet, but that's because authorities want to notify their families first. Unless I am mistaken, such courtesies are not typically extended to the family of a mass murderer.

Would I be much too cynical speculating that the White Man, Sociology Major, Former Graduate Student, Dressed in Black, and Armed with Shotgun has a name that's obviously Moslem? Even more, that authorities are trying to find out what his name was before he converted?

Requiem Šternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis.

P.S. Too cynical, I guess: the mass murderer was Steven Kazmierczak.
