Bulletin: America Not Perfect So said Barack Hussein Obama, yesterday, to a German audience. Yes, to a German audience. "I know my country has not perfected itself. At times, we've struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We've made our share of mistakes, and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions." (A World that Stands as One, Barack Hussein Obama, at Berlin's Victory Column in Tiergarten Park, Berlin, Germany, July 24, 2008)
I'm so glad he cleared that up. I have long suspected that the American Leftist's Unspoken Motto is this: America is evil because America is not perfect; the rest of the world is not evil because the rest of the world is not America. But it came real close to being spoken yesterday, no? Lane Core Jr. CIW P Fri. 07/25/08 05:04:14 PM |
