Catholics Against Joe Biden
Late, late Friday — just in time to miss the last weekday news cycle before the Democratic National Convention this week — Barack Hussein Obama announced Joseph Robinette Biden as his running mate.
Two enormous egos overinflated by delusions of accomplishment: I'll bet their meetings behind closed doors will be real humdingers.
The main, if not only, difference between Joe Biden and John Forbes Kerry, the Democrats' 2004 presidential nominee, is that Biden actually knows how to smile. Too bad he doesn't seem to know how to stop smiling, either.
Like Kerry, Biden thinks that a Catholic's faith is supposed to be confined to his house of worship. May God have mercy on them, and on us all, and bring about a change of mind and heart!
